Sheppey Boat Angling Club

All Welcome

Welcome

Sheppey`s boat angling club was founded by Rick Wharton in 2013 for the small boat sports angler.

Our aim is to help promote the sport of boat angling, and to pursue and encourage facilities geared towards helping anglers get the most out of fishing around Sheppey.
This group will mainly contain information relevant for members and prospective members, but feel free to have a browse around and contact us if you require more information.
You will find the club has much to offer in friendly helpful advice, from anglers that have fished and sailed Sheppey and the surrounding waters for many years.

The club is finely tuned to the particular needs of the boat angler, with safety highest on the agenda. You can't have enough friends at sea, especially if problems develop! Everyone helps each other out, whether launching or retrieving with 4x4, or with tips and advice.

We are able to launch at virtually any state of the tide and have quick access to all the local marks and further a field.
You'll also find that other club boats will be launching at the same time and fishing roughly the same areas, and there's always safety in numbers. If you encounter engine problems or whatever another member will always give you a tow home, a welcome advantage of membership, especially when rough weather is drawing in.

This is a friendly group and is open to all, run by members for members and everyone is expected to help out if and when required.
